Client Responsibilities:
Report any activity to COBRASOURCE for your eligible employees and Qualified Beneficiaries through mycobrasource.com.
Then COBRASOURCE will provide the rest:
Internet Access — Convenient online communication for event notifications and status reports.
Prepare event-specific qualifying notices to all Qualified Beneficiaries.
Provide HIPAA certificates for certification of group health coverage.
Complete premium collection for Qualified Beneficiaries, with remittance and reports to our clients.
Produce and mail acknowledgment of receipt with payment coupons to enrolled Qualified Beneficiaries.
Track all dates required by law for proper compliance with COBRA.
Produce and mail conversion and termination notices prior to the end of the 18, 29, or 36 month coverage periods.
Maintain all documentation with certification of mailing for all Qualified Beneficiaries.
We will also:
Provide Department of Labor initial notices to existing eligible employees & new enrollees.
Monitor the changes in Cobra law and procedures.
Provide monthly reporting of pending, enrolled and terminated Qualified Beneficiaries.
Work with your health insurance plans regardless of their size and complexity including Composite vs. Non-composite rates (age banded).
Complete monitoring of all COBRA changes and updating our notices as needed to comply with all the changes in the law.
